Ingredients:
- 300 g (10 oz) pasta (penne or spaghetti)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced thinly
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook chicken until golden (5–6 minutes).
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Stir in butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- Toss pasta with sauce, add pasta water if needed, and finish with Parmesan and parsley.
