Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 425 g (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs
  • 200 ml (3/4 cup) evaporated milk
  • 100 g (1/2 cup) brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.
  2. Place crust in pie dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk pumpkin, eggs, milk, sugar, and spices.
  4. Pour filling into crust.
  5. Bake 50 min until center is set.
  6. Cool before serving with whipped cream.
