Quick Lemon Garlic Chicken Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 300 g (10 oz) pasta (penne or spaghetti)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced thinly
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook chicken until golden (5–6 minutes).
  3. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  5. Toss pasta with sauce, add pasta water if needed, and finish with Parmesan and parsley.
